Abstract Painting: Concepts and Techniques
The target audience is the advanced or college level painter. The goal is to elucidate the issues one faces from the perspective of being in the studio. There are conceptual, psychological, physiological and practical matters that must be managed in creating a modern abstract painting.
While there is some a theoretical and historical text, this book more instructional and geared to operational matters that are specific to the enterprise of abstract painting. It does not take, however, a step-by-step approach.
